Tha carter v of lil wayne debuts at the top of the billboard

Lil Wayne picks up his fourth 1 issue at Billboard 200 with Tha Carter V. The long-awaited project from Young Money's CEO has sold out to nearly 480 000 album units during the first week of release, including 141 000 traditional sales.
This marks Wayne's fourth album 1 after Tha Carter IV (two weeks at No. 1 in 2011), I'm Not Human Being (a week at No. 1 in 2010) and Tha Carter III (three weeks at no. 1 1, 2008).
Tha Carter V wins the third biggest sales week for an 2018 album, after Drake's Scorpion (732 000) and Travis Scott's Astroworld (537 000).
Logic's YSIV follows Weezy, which ranks second with 167 000 units (122 000 in traditional sales). This is the Maryland rapper's second album to rank among the top two in 2018, after Bobby Tarantino II released in March.
